Description
Swiss tunnel minerals are exceeding rare and consequently hard to come by. The period of construction is often very short and collecting is mostly prohibited. So only a few specimens come to the daylight,- but they are so unique. So fresh like "New born". Here we have a fine association of beige, disc shaped Siderite and absolutely gemmy and colourless Rockcrystals. Luster and aesthetics are great. This almost pristine combo comes from the Furka Basis Tunnel. This railway tunnel was under construction from 1973 until the release in June 1982 and so, specimens from there are history since nearly 4 decades.
