Description
A mass of 1.8 cm measuring Acanthite aggregate with vaguely recognizable, cube-like crystals perched on a Calcite matrix. The Acanthite cluster is steel-gray with a good metallic luster. A rich specimen, a classic from the active days of Uranium mining which ended in the late 1980s with the German reunification. Don´t bet on more specimens coming from this locality. The underground workings have been sealed off, the dumps graded and reclaimed.
