Description
A specimen with two very nice 8 mm in diameter measuring ball-shaped clusters of Variscite crystals, deep green and with a waxy luster. This is a vast improvement over the normal massive habit for the species and this small find in Mato Grosso has produced what many folks consider best-of-species. This Brazilian Variscite looks totally different from the one from the Little Greem Monster Mine in Utah, which was discovered and exploited by Ed Over and Art Montgomery in the 1937/38.
