Description
Although the specimen is not entirely perfect, it is a super aesthetic piece of honey yellow Fluorite cubes to just under 2.5 cm on edge. These were the so-called “Honey Spar Fluorites”, very coveted, from the active mining times with the heyday from the 1950s to the late 1970s, when a real collecting frenzy for these Fluorites set in, resulting in astronomical prices until the mine was finally closed on November 29, 1979 with a concrete plug. The specimen presented here has a wonderful, intense color, sharp edges and a good luster. Such high-quality specimens of the Honey Spar Fluorite are hardly on the market anymore.
