Description
A very attractive group of three loosely intergrown Barite crystals. They are elongated with typical chisel-shaped terminations. Hence the German term “Meisselspat” (chiselspar). Sharp edges, beautiful luster, sharp end surfaces, perfect even if the terminations appear slightly frayed. Prism surfaces as well as terminations are slightly etched, that provides the specimen with more excitement. This is a perfect miniature specimen with great overall aesthetics from finds in the late 1980s at the famous Grube Clara (Clara Mine) in the Black Forest.
