Description
A rich covering of deep blue Kinoite micro crystals and clear Apophyllite on a beige-brown colored matrix. An especially fine, and relatively large specimen of this Calcium Copper silicate hydrate from the 1970s finds. A lovely example for this species from the Christmas Mine, a Cu-Au-Ag-Mo-Bi-Pb-Zn-Be-W occurrence/mine just north of Tucson in Gila County. Pieces this good are very difficult to obtain and I would rate this as spectacularly saturated single specimen in this size and quality.
