Pristine euhedral Galena cubes to 1.6 cm are perched on a matrix of beige Dolomite rhombohedrons. The lead-gray color, matt-metallic luster and interesting growth patterns on the cube faces make for a great contrast. And if you apply for permission from the English Heritage Trusts you might actually be able to visit the former ore mine.
