Description
A specimen with deep purple Fluorit octahedrons that create an incredible contrast to the cream-white Quartz matrix. The sharp and translucent Fluorite crystals show a great silky luster and overall in good shape. In the gaps between the crystals residues of a Quartz coating (removed by Hydrofluoric acid) can be seen. The very aesthetic specimen is from a great locality out in the desert in Grant County in southwest New Mexico. And if I am not mistaken, the Judith Lynn Claim is named for the wife of claim owner Ray DeMark.
