Description
Herrengrund is the old German name for Špania Dolina (it also has a Hungarian name when it belonged to the Hungarian Kingdom), a small village and municipality in central Slovakia, with a big mining history: mining dates back to as early as 2000-1700 BC. So it does not come as a surprise that it has produced classic specimens such as this one. Superbly formed six-sided crystals with flat terminations and with slightly “perforated” prism faces which are also wonderfully grooved. A TOP specimen with excellent aesthetics, very sought after and hardly on the market anymore. The piece comes with an acrylic base. It is from our regular inventory and is priced at €850.
