Description
By no means, aesthetic specimens like this one, were common during the heyday of this magnificent Romanian deposit in the 1960s to 1980s. However, they also disappeared relatively quickly in collections, and what remained were the lower-quality residues. But in this case, we have an excellent level of splendor, consisting of slightly artichoke-shaped quartz crystals to over 5 cm, sprinkled with numerous, extensive and sparkling Calcite crystals. A great piece, perfect all around.
