Description
If you are looking for a classic mineral specimen with provenance, this one might just be the one for you! Sharp, steel-gray octahedral crystals with a reddish hue and a high metallic luster on matrix from the Friedrichsegen Mine which was worked on and off from 1200 until the early to mid-1950s. The specimen has a few minor blemishes, however, hear me out before you judge. The historic label that comes with the specimen has its own story to tell. It is from the dealership of the mining academy of Freiberg, Saxony. The design dates the label to the late 19th and early 20th century, AND Wilhem Maucher who was in charge of the dealership from 1904 to 1909 handwrote the label. What more can you possibly want?
