Description
Pale amber-colored blocky Calcite crystals perched on a bed of creme-white translucent Natrolite. The Calcite crystals to 5 cm in diameter are sharp and translucent with a resinous luster. The specimen has only very minor flea bites on the display side. This specimen represents a typical combination for this classic Saxon locality, however the quality of this specimen makes it unique. The locality is an abandoned phonolite quarry that is being back filled which basically ends the specimen production.
