Description
The Panasqueira Mine is a gift that keeps on giving! Such as this small cabinet sized Arsenopyrite on Siderite. One side of the specimen is generously covered with Arsenopyrite while the other side is covered in Siderite. The intergrown steel-gray Arsenopyrite crystals have s a very strong metallic luster and show complex striations and are mostly well terminated. The translucent Siderite crystals with a good luster are sharp, six-sided with triangular base forms and show phantoms. A mostly undamaged specimen from a more recent find.
