A stunning silver from one of the most famous, if not the most famous of all silver localities: the Kongens Mine, Kongsberg, Norway, mined since 1623, the largest and the oldest of the silver mines in the Kongsberg Silver Mining District. This wire silver with a lot of patina is a classic mineral specimen from a classic locality. Beautiful and aesthetic. A must have for every serious collector, not just those who collect thumbnail specimens.
