Description
Here we have a large octahedron of light bluish-green Fluorite from Kara Oba of Karaganda oblast in Kazakhstan. The major crystal measures to over 8 cm across and is slightly intergrown with a smaller "cousin". The crystal has good luster, fine transparency and a slightly stepped pattern along its lustrous surface,- and it is almost pristine at the display face. Unfortunartely the pics cannot convey the aesthetics and three-dimensionality of the piece, so this one is much better in person
