Description
This is a superb and showy small cabinet sized specimen of lustrous botryoidal, pastel-pink Rodochrosite, consisting of tiny bladed crystals perched in a vug of small Quartz crystals and Pyrite crystals. This fine, colourful and nicely contrasted specimen comes from Bulgarian locale Batantsi Mine of Madan. Unlikely to the Romanian localities, Rhodochrosite from Madan is relatively rare and consequently hard to come by.
