Description
This beautiful Uchucchacua specimen features a pocket of bright Rhodo crystals which are very lustrous and isolated against a dark matrix that really make them come alive. Uchucchacua is a silver mine that is actually more known worldwide for its scalenohedral Rhodochrosites, an unusual habit for the species but a signature form for this old mine. From the finds of the 1980s-1990s, this is a piece with superb, gemmy crystals that is in unusually fine condition. This extraordinary pocket features countless crystals that are all gemmy, red, and with good luster.
