Description

This is a fine and colourful piece from Callenberg North in Saxony. It is comprised of intense reddish-orange Crocoite crystals to several mm. They are partially glassy, well formed, sharp edged and excellent terminated. Crocoite was found here between 1977 and 1986, with the mine closing down in 1990. Ex Günther John, Ex Franz-Georg Ulses collection.
