Here we have a fine and very rich combination piece with beige, bladed crystallized Bementite accented by extremely lustrous and sparkly, gemmy, deep red-brown Andradite Garnets richly covering the matrix. Bementite is a pretty uncommon manganese-silicate and pecimens from the Kalahari Manganese Fields of South Africa carry a special appeal for many collectors; this one came out of the collection of Dr. Gerd Tremmel (Gerdtremmelite)
