Description
Compared with Jamesonite specimens from other worldwide locations, this is definitely not a killer piece. But it is a good one from Black Forest and the Münstergrund Mine, more precisely an outcrop close to the broken tunnel entrance, produced in the 1980s and 1990s the best Black Forest-Jamesonites. Due to the tough rock, only a small number of good pieces came out and this is a neat one with acicular-fibrous, metallic crystals lining a vug. Seldom seen for sale on the mineral market, even on local mineral shows.
