Quartz crystals are not very uncommon in the Berbes-Caravia mining area, but Herkimer style crystals are RARE,- and here we have a very good piece. This is an excellent floater without any attachment from well known locale La Cabaña. The superbly formed crystals are razor sharp, perfect doubly terminated and lucent to transparent and gemmy. They are showing satin luster and high gloss as well. A superb and PRISTINE 360° specimen with great overall aesthetics.
