Description
This kind of specimens, additionally with superb Calcites was the reason, why this specific locale became famous beyond all borders in the late 1800s and beginning 1900s. A great Fluorite specimen with cubed crystals up to over 4,5 cm. They are gemmy and mirror bright with fine lavender-violet colour what is typical for the locale,- the Teufelsgrund Mine near Münstertal in Black Forest, Germany. Characteristic for the Fluorites from this locality are the distinct deformed, slightly bent edges, what makes the specimen way more aesthetics and dramatics. Despite I grew up just 15 km from this mine it was almost impossible for me to get hold of such a KILLER PIECE due to the mine closed in 1958. The pics cannot convey the great aeshetics and 3-dimensionality of this superb specimen, so this one is MUCH BETTER IN PERSON
