Description
A nearly 2 cm measuring, euhedral, intense green Emerald crystal is frozen in slightly crystallized green Emerald-Quartz matrix along with several fragments of other Emerald crystals in this fine specimen from the Carnaiba Mine of Brazil. It is highly lustrous with well formed prism faces and great gemminess, considering the locality. While these crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, note that this is an old Brazilian Emerald specimen - far rarer. Highly representative of the species and locality.
