Description
Several bright red tiny Cinnabar crystals are included in very glassy, parallel-growth, pale flesh coloured, transparent Baryte crystals on this classic specimen from a famed German locale - the Clarashall Mine near Baumholder in Palatinate. The oxide-tinted crystals have sharp beveled edges and good terminations. This Baryte mine closed in the early 1970s and good specimens like this one became rare and desired. Excellent material from the Dr. Pesl Collection.
