Description
This fine specimen features gemmy and lustrous Rhodochrosite microcrystals richly scattered on sparkly, manganite ore matrix from a rare and old-time locality, the Moanda Manganese Mine of Léboumbi-Leyou Department in Gabon. The crystals are well formed with scalenohedral habit, are almost excellent terminated and they have burnt-orange colour. This material came out in the 1960s and 1970s and only few turn up on the market today.
