Jetblack, octahedral Hausmannite crystals accompanied by multifaced, burnt orange-brown Andradite crystals from the famous South African locale N´Chwaning II Mine of Kalahari Manganese Fields. The Kalahari Manganese Fields of South Africa are the source of the world´s finest Hausmannite crystals and this one is a real good sample. The pictures cannot convey the 3-dimensionality and aesthetics of this fine and sculptural piece, so this one is much better in kind.
