Description
A superb, unusually rich specimen of CRYSTALLIZED Ferrimolybdite as fibrous sprays from the classic locality Missouri Belle Mine of Gibbonsville in Idaho, where original work was done in 1967 with several drill hole intersections. The areas cover a series of molybdenum, silver, and copper-bearing quartz veins together with lead and zinc. Usually one sees only a crust of microcrystals with no distinct form, but here we have true crystals. Rich on two sides of the specimen. This fine item was added to the well known collection of Erberto Tealdi of Milano in 1969,- as the winner can see on the original label.
