Description
Native Copper from Tsumeb is quite rare! Despite hard to show on the pics, virtually the entire piece is composed of arborescent crystallization, of which many of the branches terminate in subhedral, partly elongated Copper crystals. They are very sharp and almost excellent terminated with fine metallic sheen and the right amount of patina. The Copper crystals here are nicely contrasted on well formed, sharp and glassy Calcite crystals. It is an impressive Copper specimen from the former miner foreman of Tsumeb Peter Döring, whose colection we purchased some months ago.
