Description
This is a good specimen of so-called "Cleft-Augite" from the alpine locality Seebachkar of Obersulbachtal in Pinzgau, Austria. The Augite crystals here are superbly defined and mirror bright with nice terminations. They are aesthetically associated with olive green and glassy, elongated Epidote crystals. A beautiful combination piece with nice aesthetics from a rather uncommon alpine Augite locale.
