Description
Here we have a fine and unusual aesthetic mini of Hemimorphite from the famous Ojuela Mine of Mapimi, Mexico. Associated with a thin crust of ocherous limonite are fat fan-shaped clusters, some of which have coalesced into a big pinwheel. The crystals are glassy and translucent, colourless to white and pristine. Individual fan-shaped clusters reach nearly 4 cm across. The fan-shaped clusters are quite different from the elegant single crystals we normally see from here, and of a large size for this habit as well. Complete all around this very aesthetic 360° piece!
