Description
Here we have a nice, doubly-terminated large single crystal of Zircon accompanied by the part of a smaller "cousin". Every mm of this 4.1 cm cluster is lustrous - even the back that was once contacted is lustrous. The edges are partially beveled along the bases of the pyramidal terminations, and the deep cinnamon & root beer colour is very attractive. An aesthetic and important specimen of relatively huge size and heft for this locale. Certainly an old-time specimen. Only minor edge wear. Weighs 62 grams.
