Description
An aesthetic and classic specimen of metallic-bright, gray Stibnite crystals as beautiful sprays from Herja Mine of Romania. The 3-dimensional slightly bladed Stibnite crystals are superbly and contrastfully perched on white, rosette-shaped, bladed Calcite matrix. The Stibnite blades here reach 4 cm and there is remarkably very little damage to this fine piece along the periphery and it has totally perfect major crystals. The association of Calcite is a nice accent. Romanian Stibnites were considered the epitome of Stibnites, along with classic, old Japan Stibnites and were fairly common from the 1970s to mid-1980s, just as Chinese Stibnites are now.
