Description
Here we have an excellent specimen of Willhendersonite from the type locality, the Vispi Quarry of San Venanzo in Italy. Willhendersonite is an EXCEEDINGLY RARE hydrated, potassium, calcium, alumino silicate and a member of the zeolite group of minerals. Emplaced in a boxwork matrix are spherical aggregates of lustrous and translucent, white to cream coloured Willhendersonite crystals - but they are micros, and you won´t see them in this photo. This is a fine and rich piece in splendend condition.
