Description
This fine plate is richly covered with countless six-sided intense light-green Pyromorphite crystals with implied hopper growth. The Pyromorphite here is sharp edged, highly lustrous and almost pristine Luster and transparency are good and the overall aesthetics as well. The little Giant Mine is a lot less well-known than the Bunker Hill Mine, also in Shoshone County, which also turned out Pyromophites, often quite different in appearance. They are far rarer on the market than Bunker Hill Pyros! The mine officially closed more than a century ago.
