Description
This is by far the best, most valuable and also desirable piece of this running auction. Here we have a solid mix of indistinctive, crystallized, steel gray Acanthite and beautifully wired native Silver from Kongsberg in Norway, the probably most famous and classic locale for native Silvers in the world. The Silver itself forms a relatively massive glistening specimen with a fine patina. On this piece we find a bunch of well developed Silver wires and two, relatively stout ramshorns with an excellent striation. Geometric casts on the specimen probably indicate the former presence of calcite rhombs that experienced dissolution long ago. This is a stunning, sculptural and old-timed native Silver specimen superbly displaying and suitable for highest demands. Naturally it is coming with a high quality acrylic base.
