Description

Here we have a fine cluster, respectively floater of well developed and multifaced Leucite from Italian locale Roccamonfina of Caserta in Campania. The creamy to brownish crystals are sharp edged but almost dull. A fine cluster of this potassium aluminum silicate from this classic Italian locality. Leucites form from cooling lava, taking on this trapezohedral form. A good specimen.
