Description

This colorful specimen presents beautifully isolated, bright lemon-yellow Sulfur crystals up to 1.5 cm creating extremely good contrast to the matrix: small-crystalline white Aragonite. The extremely translucent crystals have a rhombic bipyramidal habit, and some have beautifully beveled edges. An excellent, contrast rich Sulfur on matrix specimen from the historic sulfur mines in Sicily which were largely closed down in the 1980s.
