Description

Here is another Kämmererite specimen, which is slightly smaller in overall size than the previous one, but with larger crystals measuring up to around 6 mm. The gemmy beauties are strewn on a sparkling bed of smaller crystals of the Chromium-bearing Chlinochlore variety. The internal light reflections of the crystals are of a spectacular deep magenta. Hard to capture on a photo, and as you can imagine, this piece is much better in person. Most, if not all, of the Kämmererite specimens come from a period in the 1970s, when now former collector friends jumped claims and cleared out each other´s clefts.
