Description
What a fine contrastful and aesthetic specimen with well developed, six-sided red crystals with a hue of brown. The Vanadinite is highly lustrous, sharp edged and superbly terminated. Minerals labelled "Taouz" originate from several Pb-veins in a 40 x 15 km area NW of the village of Taouz (small oasis settlement) in southwestern Morocco. No localities occur in the village. The most important workings are at Mefis, Tadaout, Tizi n´ Ressas, Cheîb er Rass, Bou Maïz, Adrar, Bouladame, Jbel Rheriss and Mirsan. So here we don´t know the exact mine. Anyway a top specimen.
