Description
What a stunning Italian small cab from the famous Traversella Mine of Piedmont. It´s been decades since I last saw such a great combo from this famous locality, and such fine and contrastful specimens are uncommon and rather unknown from here as well. This almost pristine piece features a bunch of multifaced and sharp crystals of Chalcopyrite superbly scattered on a matrix, consisting of elongated Rockcrystals and Dolomite rhombs. The Chalcos are showing a high metallic sheen with slight but visible iridescent colours. Such high class pieces are almost impossible to come by nowadays. Hard to say something about the value due to the fact, that such superb pieces are not around.
