Here we see a fine and glistening specimen of Hessonite, a variety of Grossular. The. crystals are multiple faceted and excellent terminated. The Grossular (Hessonite) Garnets from the Jeffrey Mine are world-famous, and some of the most sought-after specimens for the species. These amber-coloured crystals have superb luster, excellent striations that are classic for these Garnets, and sharp crystal definition. More importantly, they have that rare internal brightness combined with external glassy luster. Despite this specimen has not the very best colour it is anyway a great specimen, PRISTINE and in splendend condition with great sparkly look.
