Description
Another fine and unusual Fluorite specimen, from the famous Seula Mine of Baveno in the Piedmont here. A bunch of violet, relatively large cuboctahedrons, up to 1,5 cm across, accompanied by pale amber coloured, sharp Quartz crystals and creamy multifaced Orthoclase. The well developed Fluorite crystals are sharp edged and lustrous with a good transparency. Despite one of the major crystals is not perfect, the other one is perfect,-and such material is super rare and highly desired. Ex Dr. Herbert Muntau collection.
