Description

This magnificent, GEM twin of Calcite with only minor contacting here and there from well known Sarbai Mine of Kazakhstan. It is extremely sharp with no wear or water-smoothing which you sometimes see on the edges of these classic twins. They came out in the early 1990s from this garnet mining town, and haven´t come out since. I have seen smaller ones on the market here and there, but few of this caliber turn up for sale in some time. The crystal is so clear and gemmy you can look through to teh matrix underneath! It has excellent, bright color as well as top luster.
