Description

A fairly large crystal piece of Morganite from the Brazilian Urucum mine near Galiléia in the Minas Gerais district. The crystal is very rich of faces with wonderfully beveled corners and good transparency. In principle I would say the piece is pink, but the coloring is overlaid by brown iron hydroxides, making this difficult to recognize. It may be possible to have these removed in a lab.
