Description

Fire Opals from Mexico have always been rare and highly sought after. Here we have an excellent example from the Carbonera mine near La Trinidad with a slightly deformed spherical fire-red aggregate of 1 cm in diameter, which could certainly be used as a cutstone. Smaller precious opal fragments on the back are a nice added bonus.
