Description

Even if "just" a mini, it is a very attractive specimen with a 1 cm ropey aggregate of well-formed and sharp-edged, shiny metallic acanthite crystals on calcite rhombs accompanied by smaller "cousins". Very good material from the classic Himmelfahrt Fundgrube were ore is not exploited any more since 1968, but the mine serves as an educational mine for students of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, and also as a tourist mine (since 1991).
