Description
What a classic ore specimen from Pechtelsgrün in Saxony! A section of a Quartz gangue with an ore vein covered on two sides by foliated Molybdenite with a silvery luster and associated with Muscovite. A substantial Pyrite crosscuts through the “Fettquarz”, a massive opaque Quartz with a greasy luster (hence the name).
