Description
A multifaced and well developed, black-brown crystal of Almandine garnet perched with some smaller "cousins" on typically matrix. The major crystal is highly lustrous and almost pristine with just minor edge wear at the bottom. I don´t know the circumstances in Norway, but here in central Europe, Scandinavian Garnets are rarely seen. At least ten times more rare than their Austrian brothers I think. In any case a good specimen.
