Description
This is a typical specimen from the Wushan Spessartine Mine in Fujian Province, China. Orange-brown, gemmy transparent Spessartine crystals up to 3 mm with very little black Mica cover a matrix of blocky Feldspar. I am not aware of new finds, hence the pieces are now quite expensive and sought after.
