Description

This s a classic Smoky Quartz floater with a delicate brown color and pronounced brown colored edges. It is gemmy translucent with a strong vitreous luster. The crystal is doubly terminated with onsets of skeletal growth (?) resulting in multiple terminations. From the Dolni Bory pegmatites in the Czeck Republic that were worked for Feldspar until 1972.
